In the new year, we have design on our mind.

As we ring in the new year and look forward to 2023, our team is excited to see our current and future builds becoming the homes that our customers have dreamed of calling their own.

One of the many ways that Rosewood Communities offers value to homebuyers is our design process — perhaps the most outward and visible element of any new home interior. So how does the Rosewood team ensure that your new home reflects your unique taste?

First things first: we work with you to choose a home size and design that fits your specific budget. Whether you're choosing standard fixtures or upgrading certain pieces to suit your style, our team works with you every step of the way — from plumbing and cabinets to flooring and lighting.

We believe in giving our customers the most possible choice when it comes to designing their new home. While other builders often feature a few default design packages, Rosewood offers a greater level of flexibility, selections and customization. The result is a process that moves more seamlessly — and a finished product that truly feels like home.

Our design team loves personally connecting with customers about their favorite trends, designs, colors and ideas. Whether it's flipping through samples, looking at pictures or walking through our model homes, we encourage our buyers to take note of features and selections they like so we can incorporate those design elements into their home.

"First, we ask for a wish list of selections you like, then we start prioritizing what's most important when it comes to upgrades," says Sandra Nyblom, Design Coordinator for Rosewood Communities. "We typically start with the floor selection, then cabinets and countertops, backsplash, plumbing, lighting, and we go from there. We're also happy to share pictures of our previous builds for added inspiration."

Some of this year's latest trends like more open floor plans, seamless shower doors and greater outdoor living space have been increasingly popular with our customers — and our experts are always on the lookout for what's next in the world of home design and interiors.
